NONSENSICAL EXCUSES AFTER CLEAR PROOFS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED.

SOME OF THE COMMON NONSENSICAL STATEMENTS FROM PEOPLE WHEN EVIDENCES ON MATTERS HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED FOR THEM

1. When you correct some Muslims regarding the usage of water and avoiding their loin clothes from going below their ankles like the women; they would say: 

firstly, there was lesser water during the lifetime of the prophet since he lived in the desert and he (the prophet) dressed with his loin clothes above his ankles because clothes wasn't much then! 

Subhaanallaah! What indeed a great deal of Ignorance.

2. When you make corrections regarding repeating the takbeeraats after the Imaam, some Muslims would say:

 It would assist those who had lost conscience while performing solaat to regain their concentration. 

Then you wonder why then did Allaah say in suuratul maa'un that:

And Curse be upon those who perform solaat(in a manner disliked by Allaah), Those whose minds are far away from the prayer.

Regarding this, some Muslims would also say: At least Abuu Bakr did the same! Then if you search and search, you would find none of even the weakest of hadeeth where abuu Bakr repeated the takbeeraats every solaat behind the Rosuul!

3. Another one is that if people are corrected regarding using their hands to make tasbeeh; they would say:

 One sahaabee used stone to count now! 

And if you ask which sohaabee? Then they look at you like some-one whose answer sheets were stolen! Some of them would even say:

we lose concentration and count while using the fingers

then you wonder how many of them had forcefully bought a counting machine because he miscount a particular sum of money!

Also some muslims do not even know that part of the conditions for the acceptance of an 'ibaadat is huduurul Qolb (the presence or attention of the heart); the heart must be attentive in any act of 'ibaadat it engages in!

4. Another one is when people are corrected that there is nothing like shaafiu and witr that witr is witr! The three itself is witr and you have an option of praying one, three, five e.t.c as long as it is witr(odd) as an aunthentic hadeeth of the Rosuul establishes! Then you would see some-one trying to claim Ignorance (not to say 'Ilm) that there is evidence for shaafiu in the Qur'an as Allaah says in suuratul Fajr that:

Wa sh-shafi' wal witr

 (And by the even and odd)

Then you indeed wonder if the prophet explained that aayat to mean the shaafiu nawaafil or even if there was any amongst the salafs that understood the aayat like that from the Rosuul.

There are so many of these nonsense statements some people utter simply because they want to remain on their activities which are alien to Islaam.
