THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE SICK MUSLIM SOCIETY (PART 2)

THE CONTINUATION OF PART 1

For instance, many Muslim today do not know that it is haram to consult a mallam to investigate the cause of their problems and find out solution (by the use of sand, tesbih, Quran or any other thing). Even some of the fake missioners in the Assalatu groups are their consultants as far as this kufr act is concerned. They do not
teach our women to believe that it is wrong to use fettish objects, wear hamulets or hang fettish objects in the rooms. The Prophet, sollaLohu alaihi wasallam was reported to have said anyone who visit fortune-tellers and believes in what he says, his or her prayers would not be accepted for 40 days.

Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen said in his fatawa: "..No one knows what is unseen in the heavens and the earth except Allah alone. Those who claim to have knowledge of the unseen future are all fortunetellers, and it is proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to a fortuneteller and asks him (about anything), his prayer will not be accepted from him for forty days." And if he believes him then he is a kafir because if he believes that he has knowledge of the unseen, then he has disbelieved in the words of Allah: "Say: None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (unseen) except Allah." [27:65]. [See Majmoo' Fatawa al-Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen]

Many of our women do not know the proper Islamic dressing. They are fond of different styles that would expose some parts of body to those who are not meant tosee them. They do not use the proper hijab. They prefer the transparent ibori (head cover) to the real hijab which Allah command them to use. Even now, they are not using that ibori to cover their heads any longer, they now use it on their necks. What a big problem!
Most of our women don't know what Islam really say about relationship with their husbands, children, friends and neighbors. In short, we have a long way to go as far as proper Islamic training of women in this society is concerned. Yet, they are the ones training our children. If we fail to start taking proper Islamic orientation of Muslim women serious, the future of our children would continue to be in danger. No wonder, it is often said that whoever trains a man has trained a single person. But whoever trains a woman would be deemed to have trained the whole world. The reason why my focus is on women is self evident in the fact that they are the one who patronize the Assalatu groups most. The activities of the Assalatu groups are not helping the Muslim community because they are not channelled towards achieving the immediate objectives of the shari'ah. Apart from reciting their innovated adhkaar, singing and miming, what other things do they do?

Honestly, if the groups can change their ideology towards disseminating the true and perfect teachings of Islam, we would also join hands with them in moving the work of Allah, subhanahu wata'ala forward. But the biggest problem is that most of our people, especially women don't like the truth. They don't like issues of 'aqeedah, amaanah and istiqoomah. All they want is fabricated stories, singing and dancing etc. Even if those groups adopt the halqoh methods where issue of aqeedah are discussed openly without concealment, you
would start seeing people disappearing one by one. But this should not stop the groups from adopting this great dawah method, guidance is that of Allah. He guides whomever He wishes to the right path. No matter how hard, some people would still stay back and listen to the truth. However, I doubt if the groups can do this because their aims and objectives of establishing the Assalatu groups are faulty abinitio. When you ask them why they created the organizations: they would say it was to prevent Muslims from going to Churches
on Sundays. Even if that is the reason, why are they not teaching their members the basic things they need to know as Muslims? Don't be surprised to note that the founders of NASFAT and other groups of Assalatu know the superiority of teaching the Muslims the proper creed. They neglect that responsibility delibrately and decide to teach our people unfounded adhkaar, songs and what have you. Allah, Subhanahu Wata'ala warns against concealing the truth.

Whoever conceals the orthodox knowledge of Islam and deprives the ummah of it, Allah will place on him a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection, and he will deserve to be cursed, except for the one who repents. Allah says: "Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allâh and cursed by the cursers. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful" [al-Baqarah 2:159-160]

Wallahi, many of the local scholars are hiding their real knowledge of Islam. It is true that there are many of the local scholars who think they have proper Islamic knowledge, but do not have. The ignorance of these kind of people are compounded and they are misleading the public. But the above verse specifically refers to those who know the truth, but still hide them from the people. They would say in their mouth "iru waasi yen ose ma se nibiyi" (that kind of sermon is not suitable for our society). SubhanaLah!
If a scholar spreads his knowledge among the people, he will have a reward like that of those who follow him. The Prophet, said: "Whoever calls people to right guidance will have a reward like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their reward in the slightest, and whoever calls people to misguidance will have a burden of sin like that of those who follow him, without it detracting from their burden in the slightest." (Narrated by Muslim, 2674)

May Allah rectify the affairs of this ummah
